We have been wanting to get to the zoo with Cole for awhile now. Papaw Mark gave us a membership for Christmas! The Fincannon's were in town for the weekend visiting with the girls and we all went. The weather was perfect. Cole's favorite parts were the small waterfall behind the monkeys and the water streams at the bears. He seemed to see all the big things we pointed out to him, but the running water held his attention. We are looking forward to many more trips.
We are trying to introduce some chunkier foods and things he has to chew with his teeth/gums. He loves graham crackers and puffs. Of course I like that they melt in his mouth quickly, too! The stage 3 baby food is growing on him. He hated it at first. He would gag because he thought he could just swallow his mouthful. It is fun to see what and how well he can eat new foods. Our little guy is growing up!
