Getting the tubes put in went well today! We got there at 7am and the procedure was at 8am and we were leaving the building by 8:20am. Dr. Beach said that both of his ears had a lot of puss and fluid that he removed as well as some infection. Pretty crazy there was still infection, considering he has been on antibiotics for the last 17 days. We are so relieved to get him off the antiobiotics and on the mend. He was pretty upset on and off for about 45 minutes after the surgery. After a brief nap he seemed back to himself. They sent us home with ear drops to do for the next 4-5 days. It is such a routine procedure for children, but sure doesn't seem that way when they take him from you to put him under. We appreciate all the tips from others that have been through this before, the prayers and calls to check in on Cole today! He did GREAT!
