We had a great day yesterday, celebrating his birthday. We started the day off singing Happy Birthday to him when he walked in our room this morning. That got a huge smile! Then off to the Zoo with Aunt Angie, Mia and Drake. He loves the Zoo with his expert tour guide, Mia. She knows everything about every animal there. She holds Cole and Drake's hands and takes care of them like a little mother hen. So cute! Then home for a nap before dinner and presents with Granna and Grandpa. Lots of calls, voicemails and texts from all our family and friends for him. He loved hearing all the messages, talking to everyone and of course when asked his favorite part of the day...opening his presents. This mid-week birthday thing has been a hit, since he gets another birthday celebration at his party on Saturday! I loved this and forgot how he did this last year too...when I told him Happy Birthday throughout the day, he said..."Thanks, Mommy for telling me that. That is really nice of you." When it was time for bed he wanted another, "Happy Birthday, Cole!" Hilarious. Loved this day for him and I think he did, too! We are so blessed to have this little guy! We love him so much.
Rocking it out on his new drums! These are in the basement of course, but still can be heard from ALL over the house! Haha! He loves them.
On the Eve of his 4th Birthday, watching Looney Tunes with little brother! Cute little bodies!
