Christmas 2013

Better late than never, right?  We had a great Christmas!  I tried to get pics from all our get togethers...

• Chad and Cole heading out to the Woods Christmas the Sunday before Christmas.  They had a blast.  Cole loves his cousins and got to play all day with Ava, Audrey, Drew and Natalie!
• Christmas Eve with Mom,Terry, Brock, Angie, Mia and Drake.
• Christmas Day evening with Jan, Steve, Jon, Tami, Ava, Audrey, Leanne, Chris, Drew and Natalie.
• The Saturday after Christmas with Mark, Nicole and her boys Charlie & Nathan, Jon, Tami, Ava & Audrey

Lots of Christmas celebrations but lots of fun!  The boys are at such a fun age.  Cole and even Miles this year both loved to look for Leo our elf every morning.  Cole also loved the daily advent calendar and we put little notes in there for each day of little fun things to do as a family or something sweet to do for a loved one.  He loved this!!  On Christmas Eve Eve (the night before Leo's last day with us) Leo leaves the boys a gift and a letter about their behavior and remembering that the real reason for Christmas is Jesus! Leo heads back to the North Pole on Christmas eve and Cole is usually sad about this and takes his picture with his camera.  Even Miles kept asking for Leo on Christmas day!  You forget each year how much work goes into making Christmas happen.  The cookies, the food for each gathering the lists of gifts for everyone.  It is all so worth it and I am so grateful for family, but there is also a sense of relief when all goes well.  I love the day after Christmas when everyone can just have a lazy day around the house and love watching the boys play with all their new toys!
