Paul and Ashlynn visit and Mom passed the real estate exam

Paul and Ashlynn made a quick last minute trip in early January.  It was a short visit because we were about to get hit with a ton of snow.  Paul helped Chad paint the basement, which we have wanted to do for years.  We are so thankful for his help and they knocked it out in probably 4 or 5 hours.  Miles coloring on the wall at a Christmas get together spurred us into action.  I think he is a little young for the easel unless it is chalk only.  He does things Cole never did and continues to surprise us with all his skills. Haha!  The boys had a lot of fun with Ash like they always do.  It was cute to see Ash and Miles become buddies on this trip.  Cuties!  While they were here Mom was in her last days of studying to take the real estate exam and SHE PASSED!  So we celebrated with her with her favorite almond cake.  We are so proud of her!!
