Miles ~ Potty Training

Day 1:
So we have started potty training with Miles!  Our first day was yesterday, Tuesday, April 22nd.
He is super excited about his underwear and peeing on the potty so that is helpful.  He will sit right on the big potty with no special seat insert.  Cole would not do this at first.  So funny the differences in each child.  So for our first day the score was 4 wet pairs of underwear and 25+ successful pees on the potty.  We set the timer every 25 minutes.  Then just a diaper at nap and bedtime.  So we had 2 poops today too but they ended up being in the morning before we switched into underwear and then after nap before getting back into our underwear.  Kinda lucked out there for our first day!  Haha!

AND now at the end of the summer as I finish this post he has done GREAT overall.  Still small pee accidents where he catches himself after a pees a little.  Most all poops are in the potty unless he poops in a diaper after nap or in the morning.  He is getting it.  We do pull ups when we ride in the car because after a few accidents in the car seat and having to take out the seat, wash the covers, etc...just too much work.  So hoping we get this down by preschool next year!!  He will!!  Love this crazy guy and super proud of him and his potty training this summer.
