The 1st graders went on a field trip to Clowes Memorial Hall to see a Junie B. Jones musical based on the books. Cole said he would prefer if they just talked and at this point is not a fan of musicals. I was thinking he probably would not like this field trip, but in the name of being 'well rounded' he went and experienced it. lol! I tried to go on this field trip with him, but only 2 parents could go, so he already was not that excited. He likes us to go with him on the field trips and we try to make any that they will allow us to join. The last 2 pictures are Cole's Star student post in his class newsletter and his mention in the school weekly newsletter for reading. He has really picked up reading fast since last year and is enjoying it. He is currently reading The Magic Tree House series and the Kung Pow Chicken series.
